Dr. Jodene Shwer completed her surgical residency at New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She has presented at the Limb Preservation Symposium at Weill Cornell Medicine and was published in the Compendium of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery 2014. She works with patients from all walks of life, helping to achieve a cosmetic and functional outcome for their feet.
Before going into podiatry, she completed her undergraduate degree in Environmental Design at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she graduated early with honors and was on the Dean's List. There, she participated in the triathlon club, which sparked her interest in podiatry through aiding runner's injuries.
Outside of podiatry, Dr. Shwer enjoys working with her hands through ceramics and painting. She loves playing with dogs, traveling, and remains an active runner and swimmer.
