Dr Jonathan Richards is a podiatrist who is a highly trained foot and ankle surgeon.
Dr. Richards holds a double Board Certification. He is a Diplomat with both the American Board of Podiatric Medicine / ABPM and the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery / ABFAS.
Dr. Richards has extensive training in foot and ankle trauma, diabetic foot care and limb salvage.
Currently, Dr Richards is a Clinical Instructor of Orthopedic Surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in NYC and is also on staff at Englewood Hospital in NJ where he does trauma call in the E.R.
Dr. Barry Herstik was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. After graduating from South Shore High School, he attended Binghamton University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He did his graduate work at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatry in Chicago, Illinois, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Next, Barry completed a two-year residency at Kern Hospital for Special Surgery in Warren, Michigan. During residency, he mastered his skills as a specialist in a variety of foot ailments, concentrating on foot surgery and diabetic foot care.
Bruce Lashley, D.P.M. is certified by The American Board of Podiatric surgery specializing in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of foot conditions.
He graduated from The New York College of Podiatric Medicine and received a Doctorate Degree in Podiatry. Dr. Lashley did additional post doctorate training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Sarah Richards completed her three-year residency in foot and ankle medicine and surgery at Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, New Jersey. As a former dancer, she was drawn to the field as a means of rehabilitating performance-related injuries. Prior to her residency, she graduated at the top of her class from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio.
Jodene Shwer, DPM is a graduate of the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. There, she received both the Paul R. Quintavalle, Sr., Memorial Faculty Award and the Stanley David, DPM '56 Award, which is awarded to students who demonstrated outstanding proficiency in the clinical sciences.
Dr. Ivan Herstik graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1987. He completed a two-year residency specialization in Foot surgery at Kern Hospital for Special Surgery, located in Warren, Michigan. Dr. Herstik has published articles on foot surgery and has lectured locally and nationally on the topic.
Dr. Oren Michaeli specializes in hand, nerve and microsurgery in New York City and New Jersey. He performs various operations, ranging from carpal tunnel release to emergency hand and finger replantation. His particular areas of interest are treatment of regional paralysis through nerve transfers, tendon transfers or muscle transfers. Dr. Michaeli is committed to improving the quality of life of his patients through individualized treatment plans.
